Roots of Mine

Roots of Mine was formed in 2010 in Los Angeles, California and has developed their signature blend of Rock, Reggae and Hip Hop over 12 years as a group and the new, self-titled album showcases a sound that is uniquely their own. On September 12, 2022 Roots of Mine released their self-titled, 2nd Full length album. It includes 16 tracks that were recorded, produced and mixed at 17th Street Recording Studio by producer Lewis Richards (Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Dirty Heads, Fortunate Youth, and more). The album features guest vocals by Long Beach artists Shakamon and Dread Kennedy, guest horns by Eric Hirschorn, Cade Gotthardt (Rebelution, Tribal Seeds) and Phineas Crisp, guest keyboards by Ronnie King (2pac, Pepper, NOFX), guest production, backup vocals and drums/percussion by Stanton Frazier (Sugar Ray) and dub remixes by Josh Cardinalli aka StoneyEye.

2 songs from the album—“Green Trees” and “Something’s Got to Give”— were featured in the Kevin Smith movie, “Clerks 3” which was released September 13, 2022.
